About Amy
Amy holds a Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) and is nationally certified in Chinese herbal medicine. She brings deep expertise in Japanese acupuncture, women's hormonal health, and pain management.
Before she was a practitioner, she was a patient. Three years living in South Korea — where she witnessed the daily power of Chinese medicine — led her to dedicate her practice to women's health.
She practices at Calm Acupuncture in SW Portland, where she keeps her schedule intentionally small so every patient receives her full attention.

Treatments
Traditional techniques practiced for over 2,000 years — tailored to your individual needs.
Using your pulse, tongue, and a detailed intake, I identify which points will best support your body's own healing. Sterile, single-use needles — finer than a strand of hair.
Glass cups create gentle suction on the skin, drawing out stagnation and deeply relaxing tight muscles. Ideal for back pain, sports injuries, and respiratory conditions.
Deep-tissue Chinese medical massage that opens channels, increases circulation, and releases muscle spasms and scar adhesions.
Customized herbal formulas prescribed and adjusted throughout your treatment, supporting healing from the inside out.
Gentle heat from dried mugwort applied to acupuncture points — warming, nourishing, and excellent for cold-type conditions and breech babies.
Post-surgical scar treatment using needling and moxa to reduce pain, restore sensation, and prevent adhesions.
Specialties
Regulating cycles, supporting IVF/IUI, treating PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, and helping couples conceive naturally.
Relieving hot flashes, mood changes, insomnia, and the many symptoms of perimenopause and menopause — without hormones.
Anxiety, insomnia, PTSD, and the physical toll of chronic stress — addressed at the nervous system level.
Drug-free relief for nausea, back pain, insomnia, breech presentation, and postpartum recovery through all three trimesters.
Back pain, sports injuries, arthritis, TMJ, sciatica, frozen shoulder, and post-surgical recovery.
Building immune resilience before allergy season starts, and relieving acute symptoms when they hit.
I have received acupuncture treatments from Amy and have found the treatments highly successful, due to Amy's knowledge and professionalism. She listens and diagnoses with compassion and concern. Her overall knowledge of the field of acupuncture is beyond what I have experienced with treatments in the past. — Kate P., patient
